Eternal Hindu Foundation organized a national-level executive meeting in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on May 6, 2019. The main objective of the meeting was to provide a platform for interaction of members and executives of the Eternal Hindu from across the country. The interaction session gave attendees an opportunity to better understand the Foundation, its mission, and long-term goals. The event started with “Diya Prajwalan” (lighting of lamp) by senior members of the Foundation. Everyone then offered prayer and respect to Bharat Mata. Shri Sanjay Sharma, National Convenor of Eternal Hindu Foundation, started the formal part of the meeting with an introductory speech. He talked about a wide variety of topics related to Eternal Hindu Foundation, alongside a presentation. Topics like the founding of the organization by Shri K.N. Govindacharya Ji, why it was named Eternal Hindu, its major objectives, and new initiatives of the Foundation captured people's attention. He also mentioned the “three pillars” of the Foundation, namely Shashwat Bharatam, Shashwat Devalay, and ITIHASA. Following the presentation, Shri Sanjay Sharma requested every attendee to briefly introduce themselves and talk about their association with the Foundation. Everyone talked about how they got connected with the Foundation and what they want to do for society. From social activists to historians, and from management professionals to software engineers, the meeting hall was filled with a diverse group of people. Following the introduction, a video was screened to help the attendees have a better understanding of the mission and vision of the Foundation. The video featured various missions and initiatives of the Foundation, information on founding patrons, the advisory board, mentors, etc. Executives and members of the Foundation talked about their roles and the particular mission they're leading. For example, Shri Vedveer Arya, Mission Head – of the ITIHASA initiative, talked about the significance of the correct chronological history of India. He described how the incorrect history of India is being taught in educational institutions across the country. Aparna Sharma, a member of the Foundation, highlighted ways to best use social media for enhancing the outreach of the Foundation. Another important part of the meeting was the presentation by Shri Paritosh Agrawal, Mission Head – Shashwat Bharatam. In the presentation he elaborated the social media presence of Eternal Hindu Foundation, citing statistics and analytics about different social media channels. He laid out the roadmap of the Foundation for strengthening its presence in the digital world. He also provided data regarding activities of the Foundation on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Attendees also talked about the need for bringing change to society in terms of cultural awareness. They emphasized the role of experts associated with Eternal Hindu, like Shri Shamit Khemka, who is the Mentor for digital strategies. Shri Savio Rodrigues, National Spokesperson of Eternal Hindu Foundation, briefed the attendees about the communication strategy of the organization. He said that members of the Foundation should communicate in a way that is respectful to the ethos of the Foundation. He emphasized the need for extensively promoting the rich heritage and culture of India. The spokesperson also noted social problems that have been brought to spotlight by the Foundation. The executive meeting moved toward the end with a closing note from Shri Virendra Pandey, Chairman - National Advisory Council of the Foundation. He thanked everyone for attentively participating in the meeting and creating an enthusiastic environment. Attendees sang the National Anthem and concluded the meeting. It was followed by buffet lunch during which the attendees had a chance to interact with each other more personally. Members of the Foundation and the special invitees shared their contact details and discussed how they plan to contribute to various initiatives. Overall, the meeting turned out to be a much-needed get-together for people associated with the Foundation to talk about their ideas and plans. Attendees unanimously agreed that such events help in creating a more effective network among the members and executives.
